What is Body Composition and why is it important?

Our body's are divided into Fat-free mass and body fat.
Body composition is the proportion of fat and fat-free mass in your body.
A healthy body composition is one that includes a lower percentage of body fat and a higher percentage of fat-free mass, which includes muscle, bones, and organs. Our measurements include water & visceral fat.
Body composition is measured to assess your health and fitness level.
Relying on "scales" alone is not a correct measurement when trying to lose weight - A combination of Weight, Body Composition & measurement will give a better overview on what areas you may need to work on to achieve your health & fitness goals.
